1. How to make a request
Email hello@asiadesignlab.com with a subject such as “ADL privacy request — access”, “correction”, “deletion”, “portability” or “appeal”. If possible, write from the email linked to the account and include your Messenger ID and a short description of what you need. A postal request may be sent to Grand Co Ltd, Level 18, Park Ventures Ecoplex, 57 Wireless Road, Lumpini, Pathumwan, Bangkok, Thailand.
Do not send your password, verification code, full conversation history, government ID or another person’s sensitive information with an initial request. We may ask for proportionate additional information to verify identity and authority, using a suitable secure method if necessary. We will not disclose account information merely because someone knows an ID or email address.
This page does not submit a request automatically, and there is no hidden form collecting what you type. Opening a mail link, uninstalling the app or clearing browser data alone does not delete an account. The current beta handles deletion requests manually; an in-app deletion control is not yet available.
2. What you can ask for
- Access to your personal information and an explanation of processing.
- Correction of inaccurate information. Some profile/account fields can also be changed in the app.
- Deletion where applicable, including a request to close an account. We explain any lawful exception and avoid removing other people’s protected data unnecessarily.
- A portable copy where the law provides that right. The app also offers conversation-history export; that is not a complete response to every statutory access request.
- Restriction, an objection to legitimate-interest processing, or withdrawal of a consent on which specific processing depends.
- US rights concerning covered sale/sharing, targeted advertising, sensitive information and certain profiling, where those activities and laws apply. These advertising activities are not configured in the current service.
3. Verification, timing and outcomes
We will respond within the time limits applicable to your request. For GDPR requests this is normally one month from receipt; a justified extension of up to two additional months requires notice within the initial month. US state time limits vary; for covered California access/deletion/correction requests, the general response period is 45 days with a legally permitted extension and notice where justified.
Rights can be subject to legal exceptions, third-party privacy, security and identity/authority checks. We explain a refusal or restriction and any available appeal. We do not require payment unless a law permits it in the particular circumstances, and will explain it before proceeding. We will not discriminate against you unlawfully for exercising a privacy right.
Representatives and authorized agents can contact us with evidence of authority; reasonable identity checks may still apply. Where a US state law provides an appeal right, send an appeal referencing our decision to the same privacy contact. We will review it under that law’s procedure and deadline, explain the result, and identify the relevant regulator route where required. You do not have to use an internal appeal before a regulator or court where the law permits direct action.
4. What deletion can and cannot remove
A verified request is assessed against account, profile, session, contact, message/file and related support records. Some records may need lawful retention for another participant’s rights, a legal requirement, security or a specific claim. We will explain relevant limits. We cannot erase files or messages another person independently downloaded, exported or copied.
Backups are restricted from ordinary use and rotate under the retention schedule in the Privacy Policy. Necessary deletion records should be reapplied after a restore. We do not promise that every historic copy disappears instantly, or that uninstalling removes server-side information.
5. Regulators and further information
Where European or UK data-protection law applies, you may complain to your competent supervisory authority, including where you live or work, and use available court remedies. US residents can use the relevant state attorney general or privacy regulator where applicable.
