A desktop support contact with that old Messenger feeling. Visitors open the Windows app or download it and return to your contact.

Illustrative preview · sample team and availability

A real online light.

Available, away, busy or offline, based on the account’s actual Messenger presence. Unconfirmed checks never show a green light.

A proper finish, too.

Finish support moves a conversation out of your active list and into Completed support. Reopen it when needed, with its encrypted history still available.

The conversation stays private.

Messages use the encrypted Windows app. Your embedded button does not collect chat text, play ads or track visitors.

A FEW CLICKS. A LITTLE CODE.

Put your Messenger
on your website.

  1. Open Share my contact → Use Messenger for website support in the Windows app.
  2. Choose your team name, greeting and allowed website addresses. Enable website support.
  3. Copy the embed code and paste it before your website’s closing </body> tag. You can change the position below.

Enabling support publishes the team’s availability and lets visitors start a separate support conversation. Customers are not automatically added as friends. Turn it off any time in Messenger. A widget connects to one Messenger account; this is not a shared-agent ticket inbox.

Customers need an ADL account and the Windows desktop app. Keep the contact page open while installing, then return to connect. Your team must sign in once before receiving encrypted offline messages. Availability does not guarantee an immediate reply. The widget does not track visitors; explain its use in your own privacy notice. Read the privacy policy. Independent of Microsoft.
